Residing on venerable ground: Whoever enters our 4-star Hotel Domhof in Speyer will find themselves in an atmosphere between history and the living present. Directly in the shadow of the imperial cathedral of Speyer, on the very grounds where crowned heads once resided, our guests now find their restful sleep.
Our listed accommodation is located in a traffic-calmed area in the immediate vicinity of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Speyer Cathedral, the historic Old Town and many other cultural and historical sights, which are all within walking distance. Thus, you have with us the perfect starting point for all your undertakings.
Our 43 hotel rooms and three suites, completely renovated in 2019 and 2021, are distributed in several houses, all located around our idyllic courtyard.
In the morning we will spoil you with a rich breakfast buffet, in summer also gladly on our inner courtyard terrace. A few steps away you will find our restaurant, the Hausbrauerei Domhof, with a beautiful beer garden and a cozy rustic restaurant. There you will be served regional specialties as well as international delicacies accompanied by home-brewed beer.
The evening is best spent, among oleander and olive trees, on our courtyard terrace or in our new lounge. Here you can choose from a wide selection of Palatinate wines, sparkling wine or champagne. You can also taste our more than 25 different types of gin from all over the world with an ice-cold gin and tonic or a London Mule. Our beverage selection is available to them 24/7.
So, "Make your way to Speyer!" (as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe already had his Götz von Berlichingen say).

Information about the hotel
General
Privately owned boutique hotel since 1990, located in the heart of Speyer. Complete renovation of rooms, bathrooms, and hallways in 2019 and 2021. Listed non-smoking property (all public and private areas are non-smoking zones).
Safety
Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors with alarm in guest rooms, fire alarm system with security alert, video surveillance of the property's exterior areas, 24-hour front desk.
Internet
Our high-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas. The network is open and named "Hotel Domhof".
Pets
Your furry friend is, of course, very welcome here. We charge a one-time fee of €20 per dog for the entire stay to cover the extra deep cleaning of the room.
Parking
Free parking is available on our hotel’s private parking deck. You’re also welcome to use our underground parking garage for €12.50 per night. A reserved parking space with a personalized name sign in the garage is available for €25.00 per night. A reserved parking space with a name sign on the parking deck costs €15.00 per night.

Outdoor Area
Our beautifully landscaped courtyard with lounge areas is the perfect place to relax—especially during the summer months. Enjoy the view of the Imperial Cathedral while sipping a house-brewed beer or a bottle of wine from our wine fridge.
Children
Children are, of course, very welcome here. In the booking process, children aged 14 and above are considered "adults."
Activities
Feel free to speak to us! In addition to guided city tours (booking in advance required) or a boat trip on the Rhine, there are wonderful hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area.

Cleanliness & Disinfection
Guests can request that no housekeeping be carried out during their stay. The property is cleaned by a professional cleaning company. Bed linen, towels, and laundry are washed in accordance with local authority guidelines. Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in all public areas.
